| Customer Reviews: Double Delight July 24, 2009 E. Klein (Western PA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I purchased two sets a couple of weeks ago. Very good sharp video. A excellent buy for the price. I have owned two 19" Magnavox LCD TVs for 2 years. The aspect settings are very useful. No problems with either set.
Grainy Picture, looks like MPEG file, but cheap price, so... July 12, 2009 TIGERINGRASS 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
My daughters pitched in and bought me this TV for my birthday for my bedroom. I was excited setting it up, but rather disappointed with its performance. First of all, the screws required to attach the stand were not included, propelling me into a 2-hour hunt for the right size screws just to stand it up. The picture from a distance is okay, but the closer you get to it, the worse it looks. Up close, it's very grainy and actually looks like an old MPEG file. The sound is fine, and it looks sleek and nice - very stylish - but lacks the picture I hoped for. I guess you get what you pay for. I really can't recommend this TV unless you just can't afford to spend a little more to get much better. I personally had an older Sylvania 15" flat screen that I paid $300 for about 4 years ago and the picture and sound were fantastic. I broke it. :( I ignorantly thought a newer TV would have better picture and sound, but it just ain't so.
